Lakeview Cheese Company is a family owned company which was founded in 2009 whose sole owner is Gregory J. Gaglio. Greg has been in the food distribution business for more than thirty (30) years. Prior to opening Lakeview Cheese Company, Greg owned and operated several different cheese plants and food distributors to local customers in the California and Arizona areas.
Our current product lines are highly varied and are a fluid entity. With the ability to produce custom, private labels our product lines are changing frequently to accommodate our customers and their needs.
Lakeview Cheese Company manufactures and distributes a wide variety of cheese products. In its processing facilities, the company produces cuts of various sizes and produces a variety of custom blends and private label products for the food service, retail and food processing industries.
Here at Lakeview, our mission is to provide the best product for our customers to keep them coming back. 'We endeavor to produce the highest quality product at the best possible price, processed at state-of-the-art facilities at companies ran by a man with milk in his veins.'

Lakeview Cheese has experienced explosive growth since its inception. With the addition of a cut-and-wrap facility located in Salt Lake City in December of 2012, along with the Banquet, Grand Teton, Gold Nugget and La Fiesta brand names, we are capable of continuing to increase our production numbers significantly into the future.

The various sizes of cut-and-wrap style cheese are produced to be placed directly into supermarket chains that will put our products directly onto the shelves in the dairy section of their stores.
The larger blocks of cheeses are primarily directed at large scale distributors and manufacturers. Factories that produce product that integrate cheese into their finished goods, such as burrito and quesadilla production facilities would provide a perfect niche for our product.
The competitive advantage that we will provide to our customers is good, quality product at the best available price. Customers who purchase in volume will find that our pricing can’t be beat!
The first division is located at our production facility in Las Vegas, Nevada. The company manufactures, grates, shreds and dices both natural and non-dairy cheeses and produces a variety of custom blends and private label products for the food service, retail and food processing industries. Lakeview Cheese also offers organic certified product.
The next division is located at our production facility in Salt Lake City, Utah. This plant is the home of the Banquet, Lakeview, Silver State, Grand Teton, La Fiesta and Gold Nugget labels that have been alive in the cheese industry for decades. With the addition of this facility and its widely known labels in December of 2012, the expectation is that these products will not only continue to be recognized and purchased by existing customers but will also move into new marketplaces and will continue to flourish.
The final division is located at our cross-dock facility in Rancho Cucamonga, California. This location is a box-in and box-out facility that makes deliveries all across the USA. This facility at times also services drops at the LA Ports for international shipments of our products.
The sole owner of Lakeview Cheese Company, LLC is Greg Gaglio. Greg was raised at the feet of his grandfather and father in the restaurant, food distribution and cheese industries. Knowledge of the cheese industry is an innate instinct for Greg. He learned how to make and sell cheese at a very early age and continues this tradition today.
Lakeview Cheese has a staff within the three divisions that have hundreds of years of collective experience in the cheese industry. We are uniquely qualified to bring that experience and knowledge to our customers in the form of quality product that they can trust to bring to their customers.
Lakeview Cheese commitment to Research and Development includes a dedicated development laboratory where our research engineers design custom products, test new ingredients, explore innovative processes and prepare custom cheese samples.
The Lakeview Cheese Test Kitchen, an expansion of our Customization Lab, is another resource available to our customers. In the Test Kitchen, a representative end product can be created, comparisons between cheeses can be made, and new uses can be discovered for existing cheese products.
Our journey of continuous improvement ensures that our customers receive the highest quality product available for their needs. Our long term partnership with key suppliers ensures steady consistent raw materials and in turn reflects in our finish products.
The labels that we offer at all three plants are Banquet, Grand Teton, La Fiesta and Gold Nugget. We also have the capability to develop and deliver private labels for customers who order in large quantities. The brand names from this facility have been around for decades and will continue to hold their own in the marketplace.
The product lines that are offered out of Las Vegas are driven primarily by our shredding, grating and dicing capabilities. Our primary labels are Silver State and Lakeview. We also produce under private labels at this location. With the shreds, we offer specialty blending to accommodate customers who what that special taste to pass on to their own customers. A variety of blends are readily available as standard stock, but we can accommodate specialty blending.
Gouda is a yellow cheese made from cow’s milk. It is a “washed curd” cheese with good flex which will not break readily. It is typically mild in flavor, stable and slow to age over time.
Mozzarella varies from being white in color to slightly yellow. It is a mild flavored cheese with a low galactose content.
Monterey Jack is an American semihard cheese, customarily of pale yellow color, made using cow’s milk.
Again, these products are ordinarily available in 8/5# loaves per case or 4/10# loaves per case. We have the capability to create custom sizes and custom labels for these products. Lakeview Cheese also produces sliced product from a large array of cheese types. Below are some examples.

We also carry a selection of imported cheeses as well as cheese sauces. And many of our cheeses are available in low-sodium, lactose-free, reduced fat and non-dairy varieties. In addition, we offer a broad selection of packaging and private label options.
